CMS updated Medicare’s Care Compare website to add provider affiliations (including doctors and clinicians) with:
- Long-term care hospitals
- Skilled-nursing facilities
- Inpatient rehabilitation facilities
- Home health agencies
- Hospices
- Dialysis facilities
According to a CMS release, the new information is meant to “provide additional information to support patients and caregivers as they make healthcare decisions.”
